Why is my Tech blog not taking off?

That's a great looking site. Lots of content. My guess on your problem: It's hard to be engaged with it because it's a very "factual" blog. The blog tells readers "how to" do things. But perhaps it doesn't offer much opinion or controversy. Something to make people care about you as a person....

Best resources for learning Wordpress?

For learning Wordpress, I found it best to grab a few templates (lots of free ones out there) and see how they work. Very quickly you see the basic tricks. For plug-ins, go to the standard plugin site and go through all of the "popular plugins." There's a zillion, but you'll probably have...

Blog woes: I don't host it and it's subdomained, but should I host it and be subfoldered?

Completely understand your desire to have no servers to run - if it's not your thing, then it will eventually become a distraction. I don't believe you need to leave Wordpress.com - my understanding is that they offer premium services where you can set up as yourcompany.com rather than...

Should prospective investors sign non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to keep your ideas safe?

Personally, i never see (nor heard) any angels or VCs that would sign NDA. Asking them to sign usually is a sign of inexperience. Having said that, unless you have a super secret sauce (like Coke's recipe), maybe they'll sign it.

Is it necessary to get errors and omissions insurance?

E&O is expensive, but useful. Our company has it - we wrote for Microsoft's bCentral sites for 2 years a while back and it was a requirement of our contract. We decided to keep it and we are glad we did. One thing you may find is that in attempting to get contents or generally liability...
